Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 USD

We’re looking for a Manager, Solution Consulting to join our Solution Consulting – Epic Portfolio team and lead and develop a Solution Consulting team dedicated to our Epic portfolio. Applied Epic is the leading agency management platform in the independent insurance channel, and our Epic Conductor platform is how we help agencies and brokerages get more value out of their business.

You’ll manage a team of pre-sales consultants who partner with our Sales team to serve agency and brokerage prospects and clients, while also rolling up your sleeves on strategic opportunities — leading discovery sessions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and proving the business value of our platform capabilities. You’ll drive performance, shape team culture, and ensure our client experience represents the best of what Applied has to offer. You can live anywhere in the US, working from a home office, with up to 50% travel.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Solution Consultants — managing performance, professional growth, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Services
• Ensure your team delivers compelling product demonstrations for our Epic Conductor platform, communicating value from both a technical and business perspective to all levels of agency and brokerage leadership, including principals and executive decision-makers
• Partner with Sales leadership to drive resource strategy, pipeline coverage, and account planning
• Personally engage with strategic, complex, or high-priority accounts to model best-in-class consultative selling and support critical deals
• Drive alignment with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Marketing on product roadmap, releases, and enablement
• Coordinate site visits and executive demonstrations for agency/brokerage clients
• Ensure smooth hand-offs to implementation resources, including Integration Services, Data Services, Activation, Education Services, and Customer Support
• Champion continuous learning — keeping your team current on industry trends, competitor dynamics, AI-based capabilities, and Applied’s evolving product portfolio
• Travel up to 50% nationwide to support client engagements and team needs

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of P&C insurance agency/brokerage experience and/or Applied Epic (or comparable agency management system) expertise, or equivalent SaaS sales experience
• 3+ years of Solution Consulting, pre-sales, or sales engineering experience, plus prior people management experience
• Working knowledge of configuring, testing, and using AI-based products
• Professional written, verbal, and presentation skills, both in person and via virtual platforms
• Organized and analytical, with keen critical thinking skills
• Passion for driving business through a consultative approach
• Customer-focused, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in insurance and/or technology

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position considers a variety of factors, including depth and breadth of experience, skills and role scope. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible for additional compensation plans (bonus and commission).
