Position Overview
 
We’re searching for a Sr Identity Engineer to join our 
IT & Security team in Bengaluru location. The Senior Identity Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, automation, and operational excellence of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. This role partners closely with Info Security, IT, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and automated identity solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.


What You’ll Do

Identity & Access Management Engineering

  • Design, implement, and operate enterprise IAM solutions leveraging platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Optimize the identity lifecycle for human and non‑human identities through automation.
  • Engineer secure authentication, authorization, and SSO integrations.
  • Implement Role Base Access (RBAC) and Just‑In‑Time (JIT) access and provisioning models.

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  • Implement InfoSec best practices to secure administrative and elevated access.
  • Enforce least privilege, time‑bound access, approval workflows, and session governance.

Automation & Engineering Excellence

  • Build automation‑first IAM solutions.
  • Develop scripts and workflows to automate provisioning, access enforcement, and deprovisioning.
  • Improve reliability, scalability of identity systems.

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Lead and execute complex identity initiatives.
  • Translate security and business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.
  • Own execution, risk management, and outcomes.

 Governance, Policy & Documentation

  • Author and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and runbooks.
  • Support audits and compliance activities.

 

We’re Excited to Learn More About You 

  • 5+ years of IAM or Identity Security experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Okta, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Strong experience with PAM, JIT access, and non‑human identity management.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
