Position Overview  

We’re searching for a Business Insights Manager to join our Revenue Operations team in a Hybrid Capacity to our Chicago, IL office . To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.     

As the Business Insights Manager, you will serve as the strategic owner of our customer data and, most importantly, its business insights/implications. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who thrives on autonomy, building new things, and driving action through insight. This role will report to the Head of Revenue Operations who sits on the leadership team for our fast-growing Carrier business unit that includes our latest acquisition, Cytora, a global leader in AI applied to Insurance.  

This role will work across sales, implementation, customer success, finance, and product/tech to ‘connect the dots’ across our organization to drive new business growth, reduce churn, and optimize the P&L. This includes identifying whitespace, product usage trends, customer health, opportunities to improve our customer experience, and more. 

You will do this from managing the entire lifecycle of business intelligence—from navigating our GCP data warehouse to delivering executive-level presentations. You will not manage a team of people; instead, you will manage the integrity, strategy, and delivery of insights that create influence and drives insights across our US Carrier organization. 

 What You’ll Do

• Strategic Ownership: Act as the dedicated partner for the Carrier business and RevOps leadership, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering valuable business insights. 

• Data Architecture & Access: Navigate GCP (BigQuery) or modern cloud environments to locate and extract the data necessary to solve critical business hurdles. 

• The "Data Detective": Expertly piece together raw, unstructured, or incomplete data from multiple sources to create cohesive, reliable datasets for analysis. 

• SQL & Analysis: Write SQL queries to extract and transform raw data into actionable business logic. 

• Reporting Ecosystem: Build and maintain sophisticated, automated reporting in Tableau, while utilizing Excel for agile, ad-hoc modeling and deep-dive requests. 

• High-Stakes Communication: Translate technical findings into "business speak," delivering insights regarding AI product performance that empower stakeholders to take immediate action.  

We’re Excited to Learn More About You 

Your experience may include: 

• 6+ years in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics  

• Exprience with SQL, GCP/BigQuery, Snowflake or similar modern warehouses  

• Spreadsheet Ninja  

• AI Literacy and Efficiency

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $105,000 – $135,000 To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
