Position Overview
We're seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to be a strategic leader responsible for the vision, delivery, and operational excellence of the company’s core enterprise application portfolio, including Salesforce and NetSuite. This role involves guiding a team of IT professionals, defining a long-term application roadmap, and collaborating with executive-level stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions align with and drive business objectives. The Director acts as a key decision-maker, overseeing governance, security, and the continuous optimization of all managed applications while serving as a technical lead for the team.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning and Governance:
Develop and implement IT strategies to support business operations, future growth, and scalability using Salesforce, NetSuite, and other enterprise applications.
Define and maintain a long-term roadmap for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability for future growth.
Oversee the technical direction of the Enterprise Applications team, ensuring system enhancements and changes are built for scalability, sustainability, and alignment with best practices.
Ensure the security, compliance, and governance of enterprise applications in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
Partner with departments and executives to identify, recommend, and implement cost-effective technology solutions that align with business priorities and drive organizational goals.
Partner with executives and departmental leaders, providing guidance on application-related strategies and initiatives.
Mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation to foster professional growth and high performance.
Ensure timely delivery of application projects, effectively managing risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
Build and develop the team’s skill set to ensure they are equipped to support new initiatives and adapt to evolving business needs.
System Operations and Maintenance:
Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery, and provide expert support when necessary.
Ensure timely completion of system maintenance tasks, including security reviews, platform updates, health checks, and optimization activities.
Enforce adherence to governance practices and policies to maintain system integrity and compliance.
Vendor and Financial Management:
Develop and manage the enterprise applications budget, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal allocation of resources.
Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
Develop clear business cases to justify investments in enterprise application enhancements, integrations, and major implementations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in enterprise applications and implement them in the organization if beneficial.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Lead initiatives to optimize system integrations and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
