Position Overview  

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Contract Administrator to join our Systems Billing & Contract Administration team.  In this role, you will carry out contract-related duties including proposal generation, order processing, and coordination, adhering to strict timelines.  You will liaise extensively with a variety of internal departments, including Billing, Legal, and Sales.  As the first point of contact our clients have outside their sales representative, you will be relied upon to maintain positive and friendly relationship with our clients as we welcome them to Applied!

 

What You'll Do

  • Generate and edit all proposals for Sales Consultants and Account Representatives
  • Complete appropriate order processing steps required by corresponding procedural documents
  • Enter and maintain accurate data within Salesforce (client relationship management software system)

We’re Excited to Learn More About You  

  • 1-3 years of contract administration or administration experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
  • Exposure to a CRM software (such as Salesforce), and/or other software systems strongly desired
  • Proven strong business acumen, problem solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and mentoring skills
  • Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
