Position Overview 

We’re searching for a Manager, EZLynx Education to join our Activation Services team in remote or hybrid setting from our Chicago or Dallas offices (preferred). To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.    

 

The Manager, EZLynx Education will provide oversight and guidance in the delivery of training engagements to our clients in accordance with Applied Systems Core Values and defined Education Services Principles, and is integral in the attainment of revenue, expense, and resource utilization goals as well as overall positive customer experience.

  

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the delivery of client education/training engagements and improve training offerings, including the development and refinement of education content.
  • Drive development of initiatives, complete project deliverables and manage resources to ensure the right team members are on the right engagements.
  • Work with high-profile accounts in a governance capacity, and handle client interactions to resolve identified issues with training or personnel.
  • Monitor client deliverables, survey results, and staff performance to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for staff development.
  • Foster inter-department cooperation and communication, particularly with Sales, Services teams, and Support, to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain a Skills Matrix for direct reports, communicate staff capabilities, and participate in business development efforts.
  • Lead performance appraisal process, provide salary and bonus recommendations, and manage underperforming staff.
  • Follow the prescribed New Hire Onboarding process for any new hires. Also assist in updating when necessary. 
  • Oversee and manage customer utilization of assigned team members to help them meet utilization requirements.
  • Facilitate and lead training events and serve as a backup for staff on client engagements when necessary.

 

  

We’re Excited to Learn More About You 

Your experience may include:

  • 3-5 years experience as an Education Team Manager with superior performance, or equivalent external experience.
  • Proficiency in engaging actively in the formulation and dissemination of educational content and policies.
  • Solid understanding of OpenAir (or other PSA system).
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in training, education, or an insurance environment.
  • Is willing to travel onsite to clients (less than 25% of the time).

 

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

  • A background in the insurance industry.
  • Hands-on experience using Applied Systems software (such as Applied Epic, EZLynx, etc.)

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $85,000 - $115,000 USD. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
