Position Overview
We're seeking a Associate Data Scientist to join our Analytics and Data Science Products team on a hybrid basis from our Chicago office. To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You’ll Do
Work with leaders from Data Science, Product, and Engineering to solve customer challenges with advanced data analysis and machine learning
Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights
Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning and AI models for practical business use cases
Support development of generative AI prototypes and prompt engineering for business-focused
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, AI, and analytics
Assist in the design and deployment of data management and data governance practices
Support senior data scientists and data engineers on larger projects and initiatives
We’re Excited to Learn More About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
Practical experience in predictive modeling, AI/ML, data science, and analysis
Expertise in Python, SQL, and related data science tools
Experience with Google Cloud & Vertex AI platform
Knowledge of Git or other version control tools
Familiarity with APIs
Experience with or strong interest in applying LLMs or generative AI for business use case
