Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Sr. Learning & Development Partner to join our People Team.  The Sr. Learning & Development Partner and play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within Applied Systems. In this role your expertise in organizational development, facilitation, and talent development will be crucial in driving organizational growth. As a seasoned Learning & Development Partner, you'll not only facilitate and design programs but also engage in strategic consultation to ensure our initiatives align seamlessly with the evolving needs of our dynamic organization.

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to conduct in-depth consultations, understanding specific organizational needs, and co-create customized learning solutions that align with crucial talent development and business strategies
  • Utilize strong and engaging facilitation skills to lead both virtual and in-person training programs, fostering an environment that contributes to the growth and development of employees while making a measurable impact on the business
  • Design and construct interactive aspiring leaders and leadership programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and leadership competencies
  • Develop, build, and maintain facilitation guides and training materials that enhance the effectiveness of learning sessions, ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience
  • Play an integral role in various training-related projects and initiatives, lending expertise to ensure successful implementation and alignment with organizational goals
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the Talent Development industry, incorporating relevant insights to continually enhance and innovate learning offerings
  • Demonstrate comfort and skill in conducting interventions with leaders and teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the organization

What You’ll Need to Succeed

 
We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office, preferably in the Chicago area

Your experience should include some or all of the following: 

  • 5+ years experience in Organizational Development or relevant area
  • Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in delivering customized training experiences to diverse audiences
  • Highly skilled in adapting facilitation tactics in real-time based on participant engagement levels
  • Exceptional ability to read a room and create a supportive environment for group facilitation and team sessions
  • Proven track record of working with and influencing senior leadership in development sessions
  • Deep coaching skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide individuals towards their professional goals
  • Extensive consultation skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and thorough knowledge of training development process
  • DiSC or additional assessment training preferred
  • Skilled at working with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training content and establish achievable learning outcomes.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Organizational Development preferred
