Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Customer Implementation Specialist to join our Activation Services teamAs the Customer Implementation Specialist, you will excel at working directly with clients to implement and configure extended solution products. In this role, you will work independently with clients to deliver a positive customer onboarding experience. You will have the opportunity to cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers to provide a smooth implementation of our products. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to internal projects and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals that align with Applied’s Values in Action. This position requires excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

What You’ll do:

  • Manage extended solution implementation projects, including project planning, execution, and timely communication with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality implementations.
  • Identify and manage customer expectations, including communicating difficult/sensitive information to customer, project team, and management.
  • Work with customers to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide guidance on best practices and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and dashboards to ensure that implementation milestones are met.
  • Form strong and productive working relationships with customers, managing to keep customers on track toward achieving mutual goals.
  • Partner with product and project team members to ensure the completion of all deliverables across the project.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, tasks completed, project status, and action items.
  • Continually seek feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in our implementation process.
  • Manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Assist clients with making product related configuration decisions.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of company products, usage, features, etc. 
  • Manage projects that include data migration of extended solutions products when the management system has a data migration. This includes a thorough data review.
  • Occasional Shift Hours (1-2 times per month): Friday Nights and/or Saturdays to meet customer needs

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3+ years of project management or software implementation experience
  • Demonstrated communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions
  • Experience or interest in data conversions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • A background in the insurance industry
  • Knowledge or use of Applied Systems products and services
