    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a talented Web/CMS Developer to support the migration from our current Umbraco CMS to an EpiServer Digital Experience Platform (DXP).  You will be responsible for implementing the new web platform, and establishing a foundation for future web development and growth for the Marketing team. You will work together with our in-house Web Developers on the Marketing team and our DXP 3rd party vendor on the EpiServer implementation.


    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Responsive website design, development, and testing
    • EpiServer platform architecture and core bundle functionality
    • CMS/DXP design, content customization, API integration, and connector optimization
    • Website Marketing Automation integration (Marketo)
    • Multi-geo site management
    • Technical and project documentation
    • Multi-site usage analysis and reporting


    • BS. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of professional experience in Web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, RESTful APIs, and SOAP
    • Work experience in CMS / DXP development with several successful deployments of enterprise-class websites; preferably, with multi-lingual dependencies
    • Experience in EpiServer implementations, administration, and/or development preferred. EpiServer certifications a plus. Candidates with experience in other .Net CMS systems will be considered (Sitecore, Kentico, etc.)
    • Any experience in ASP.Net, C#, MVC, or SQL Server a plus
    • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot code
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
    • Understanding of Agile project concepts
