    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an HRIS Analyst to become a part of the Human Resources team. In this role, you will hold the key to our HR data and reporting.  You’ll leverage your passion for data and technology to support, recommend, and enhance our people processes, ensuring data integrity and optimization.     Specifically, you will be responsible for:

    • Writing advanced reports, designing dashboards & analytics, and validating data
    • Actively benchmarking and engaging with software vendor community for collaboration with other companies as well as prioritizing upcoming releases to drive continuous improvement
    • Creating and maintaining process documentation, job guides, templates, and reference materials supporting the talent platform
    • Providing internal consulting services to business to improve processes by proposing new solutions and driving adoption of new functionality
    • Creating project lists and cutover plans to implement needed changes or new functionality
    • Configuration of new or adjusted functionality, business process adjustments, field changes, or new modules and understanding downstream impacts
    • Facilitating end to end testing processes to ensure successful system set up and testing of new or adjusted configuration inclusive of integrations
    • Setting and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress toward completion of project and adjusting schedule or tasks as needed
    • Participating in cross functional projects and enhancements with other areas such benefits, talent acquisition, the in-house development team, finance, and the HR business partners
    • Troubleshooting and resolving issues by logging and tracking reported issues to vendor and ensuring timely resolution
    • Maintaining quality standards and procedures for the HRIS System

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of progressive experience focused on HRIS set up, design and administration
    • Strong preference for candidates with solid experience administering Ultimate Software/Ultipro systems
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
    • Experience designing and customizing Open Enrollment modules
    • Experience managing and designing system reports using Cognos Business Intelligence, or other similar system
    • Experience setting up and maintaining File feeds for benefit vendors
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Must be a team player, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
    • Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience
