    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Business Analyst to join our IVANS Insurance Solutions Division.  In this role, you will be part of a small, fast-paced team comprised of individuals from world class technology and insurance industry firms tasked with the creation of highly innovative products to lead the industry in the digital world.  You will work closely with our clients to gather business requirements, conduct software demonstrations, and assist with implementations.  Your insurance industry expertise will be critical in helping our technical staff successfully respond to the needs of our clients.

     

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Co-ordinate multiple business projects concurrently
    • Consider the needs of all client constituents, both internal and external, with the goal of delivering software to clients of all sizes – small as well as global in nature
    • Facilitate communication with clients to determine clear understanding of business problems that can be solved by technology solutions
    • Understands, supports, and delivers on the corporate roadmap, vision, and goals

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency; Applied Epic exposure preferred
    • Some SQL experience is a plus
    • Ability to communicate at all business levels with individuals in both technical and non-technical roles
    • Self-driven passion for finding and collaboratively solving problems
    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Exposure to Power BI/other BI software helpful but not required!
