    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for knowledgeable and talented C# Developer to join our System Development team.  In this role, you will be part of an Agile Scrum team that designs and implements innovative, service-oriented solutions that have a broad impact on our company, our software products, and the insurance technology industry at large.  Your Agile Scrum team will collaborate and strive to constantly improve its velocity in delivering high quality business software on time. 

     

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • New development and maintenance of our applications using C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server
    • Research problems and various solutions, while devising a plan to solve these problems
    • Being accountable to your Agile Scrum Team members and the organization to deliver high quality technical solutions to provide business value
    • Journey with your team on continual improvement through iterative software development cycles
    • Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers

     

    Requirements:

    • S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of C# and SQL Server development. Experience with VB.Net a plus.
    • Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment; experience with Agile Scrum methodology an asset
    • Proven ability to think creatively and develop new ways of handling technical and project tasks (thinks outside the box)
    • Expert troubleshooting skills and research abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
