    Job Summary

    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an

    Junior C# Automation Analyst to join our QA Automation team.  In this role, you will be responsible for the new development and maintenance of software, QA testing tools, automation scripts, and framework using C#.  The QA team is responsible for testing all Applied products and providing information, feedback, and expertise about the software’s quality and development processes to ensure delivery of defect free applications.  Additionally, the QA provides knowledge and training on product testing; process creation and management; toolsets; and metrics.

     

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Develop test automation scripts in C# as part of the product team to which he/she belongs
    • Contribute to creation and documentation of QA tests for the product team, especially (but not exclusively) where automated tests are concerned
    • Work with QA Automation core team to identify bugs and needed enhancements in the QA Automation framework code
    • Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and sprint planning

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS; or equivalent work experience
    • Experience or training in C#, VB.Net, Java, C/C++, or SQL
    • Excellent problem solving skills; strong logical reasoning and solution oriented
    • Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment
    • Experience or training with Agile Scrum methodology is a plus
