    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Marketing Operations Specialist to manage the planning, scheduling, development, and execution of marketing projects and initiatives.  In this role, you will work closely with the Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications and regional Marketing teams to facilitate the planning, development, execution, tracking and reporting of marketing activities within defined timelines and approved budgetary guidelines. You will be relied up to establish, maintain and manage the necessary processes and tools to support the development, distribution, and tracking of corporate and product marketing activities and associated assets. 


    Responsibilities include:

    • Accept new project requests; work with stakeholders to ensure briefs thoroughly define all objectives, directions, and requirements
    • Lead the project initiation process by helping define scope, determine action items, assign ownership, and create projected timetables
    • Oversee project execution; coordinating team efforts to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency
    • Conduct regular project status meetings and updates as required
    • Interface with other departments to facilitate accurate planning and effective coordination
    • Monitor projects to ensure deadlines and targets are met within assigned timelines
    • Track and report project progress to relevant stakeholders

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years of experience in project coordination/management and/or marketing
    • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proven ability to thrive and problem solve under tight deadlines, working both independently as well as in a team environment
    • Excellent quantitative analytical skills
    • Prior marketing project management or job trafficking experience a plus
