The Alliance Partner team is responsible for the overall success and ongoing healthy relationship of a named group of key accounts at Applied Systems. What You'll Do
- Serve as a key member of the Sales team in helping to define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy and tactics.
- Practice strategic relationship management and development for each customer/prospect Master account.
- Develop and manage strong relationships within each customer’s functional department management and upper management levels to ensure direct connection with account decision maker. Become a proactive and trusted partner.
- Create a strategic alliance with customers, contributing to innovation and design across the digital ecosystem.
- Work with client/stakeholder contacts for assigned accounts to identify and determine goals, objectives, and business needs. Formulate a roadmap for how the Applied partnership can help align to and achieve those goals long-term.
- Create demand through regularly scheduled outbound calling efforts, understand key business and technology objectives and position applicable solutions and services.
- Facilitate, along with a Solution Consultant SME, a tailored proof of Applied’s capabilities to aid in the achievement of business and technology goals.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group for sponsored subscriptions.
- Work with client contacts in performing discovery to define opportunities and identify both competitive and attrition risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Act as a conduit between assigned accounts and Applied to understand the identified goals/objectives and leverage internal partnerships to enable efficient solutions to clients’ needs:
- Partners with the VP Alliance Partner, AP Channel Manager, Sales Manager Alliance Partner and assigned Client Success Manager(s) on opportunities to expand product footprint, increase usage across the account’s user base, and optimize usage within existing usage base.
- Utilize available system reports, dashboards, and metrics to confirm customer goal or objective attainment or determine the gap so that further measures to reaching the goal or objective can be identified and implemented.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Support, Cloud Services, and Info Security as needed on behalf of the account to address product gaps, quality issues, challenges with product support, compliance needs, and system up time.
- Work with Marketing to identify and buildout reference points within assigned accounts including but not limited to case studies, joint industry presentations, product release videos / testimonies.
- Oversees the capture and availability of customer information within Applied System’s chosen CRM and collaboration platforms.
- Meet/exceed annual ACV growth goals.
- Change Masters from passive to active sponsors for Applied/EZLynx solutions
- Develop and deliver annual business plan demonstrating that there is a firm grasp on the business and an understanding of key actions needed to meet/exceed sales numbers.

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Senior Software Engineer (Golang, ETL) to join our Data Lake team. This role involves the development and maintenance of advanced data pipelines and the expansion of our comprehensive data infrastructure. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum team members to engineer and deliver high-quality technical solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in transforming and orchestrating massive data sets, creating impactful solutions that drive innovation and efficiency for our clients' businesses.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated and reliable data pipelines, encompassing extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, while ensuring alignment with our product vision and impact across various areas.
- Own the development of strategic projects from initial conception to completion, delivering large features and improvements with minimal guidance, and providing leadership on larger projects in collaboration with the team.
- Utilize tools like Debezium, GCP stack (including Pub/Sub and Dataflow), BigQuery, and SQL for managing and processing large-scale data, driving the innovation and optimization of our data services
- Spearhead the development and deployment of RESTful services and APIs on Google Cloud
- Author high-quality code that adheres to internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices, while leading by example in solving technical problems of the highest scope and complexity
- Offer mentorship on complex issues and coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Expertise in Golang, Python, SQL, and experience with GCP data and ETL stack tools (Debezium, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery) or equivalent technologies of experience in ETL development and data engineering
- Experience in implementing RESTful services and APIs
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum, and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Exceptional communication skills in a team-oriented environment, with the ability to clarify requirements and deliver solutions within committed timelines
- Strong technical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and research capabilities
- Ability to guide teams, solve complex technical problems, lead strategic projects, and drive innovation across multiple domains.
- Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent experience

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Cloud Cost Optimization Director to join our Financial Plan & Analysis organization. This person will be a key leader responsible for providing financial and analytical support to key business departments, and managing critical projects and initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Implement financial processes for tracking, monitoring, and forecasting multi-cloud costs and usage
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Cloud operations to ensure cost efficient usage of cloud
- Develop and monitor cloud budget and expenses against core models and metrics
- Develop governance framework with partnership from key stakeholders
- Build and define financial observability and operation tooling for our cloud platforms
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiencies by analyzing GCP, Azure, and AWS invoices and spend patterns coupled with using product discovery techniques interacting with existing cloud initiatives.
- Be acutely aware of cloud spend footprint and detect any unusual consumption.
- Utilize the cost datasets to innovate data analysis that helps the organization better understand and react to cloud spend.
- Implementation of additional governance and compliance policies for further development of the Financial Operations strategy as an important pillar in the area of the entire cloud environment
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- 3+ years of experience with GCP in a administrative function
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, cost reporting, and cost optimization, at scale in GCP, Azure, and AWS
- Experience with capacity forecasting, cloud cost optimization techniques
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of business, finance, economics, or a related field

Additionally, you may have:
- Experience with scripting and automation of cost and billing reports for at least one public cloud
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) or Financial Operations Practitioner Certifications
