    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our End User Services team, which supports technologies throughout our 15 offices in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland, as well as for our strong base of home office/teleworkers.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end user activities including triage, troubleshooting, password resets, software installation, PC hardware repair, and hardware deployment, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, video conference systems, and other conference room equipment.   You will manage end user support via phone, email, chat, ticketing, and remote administration.  You will be part of achieving Applied’s Corporate IT team goal of delivering a world-class support experience to our employees.


    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Asset tracking, PC hardware deployment and hardware repairs
    • Research problems as needed to develop solutions
    • Stay current with industry changes in hardware, software, support, and security
    • Adherence to established Service Level Agreements



    • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1 year of experience in Information Technology in an IT support function – installing, configuring, administrating, and maintaining MS Windows desktop/laptop environments, including desktop
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office & Office 365
    • Experience with Microsoft products including Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office, Office 365, One Drive and Skype
    • Experience with Android and iOS mobile devices
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Certifications desired but not required: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSA – Windows 10
    • Available for occasional travel opportunities (<5%) for office renovations, moves, or potential acquisitions
