Job Summary

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology is currently accepting applications for our 2018 Internship Program.  We are looking to fill a role on our Desktop/Helpdesk Team.  Working with our team of Desktop Technicians, you will assist with a variety of tasks directly effecting the service provided to our internal end users.  This role will provide a summer of valuable, hands-on technology experience in a professional environment.  Opportunities abound, including:

  • Hands-on projects involving hardware/software installs, upgrades, and deployments

This internship is full-time, Monday through Friday role that runs from May to August.  Start dates and end dates are determined by both the department and the intern's availability.  This internship is based at our corporate headquarters in University Park, IL.  Interested applicants must reside in the Chicagoland area.



  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Must be enrolled full-time at the college/university level for the Fall 2018 semester
  • Familiar with operation of PCs
  • Experience installing OSs, building PCs, and/or working in a campus lab (or similar environment) a plus
  • Driver, self-starter; open to learn and be trained
  • Works well in team-oriented environment; understands when to ask for help
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
