    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Director, Marketing Technology be responsible for establishing the necessary processes, infrastructure, and tools to support the development, distribution, and tracking of marketing activities.   This will include the development and management of formalized monthly reporting for all marketing programs and KPI’s as defined, including but not limited to; leads by market area and product segment, campaigns, projects and digital related statistics and analysis. You will be relied upon to work closely with marketing leadership and sales management to ensure the planning, development, execution, tracking, and reporting of marketing activities within defined timelines and approved budgetary guidelines.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Directly manage Digital, Demand Generation, and Marketing Project Management functions (3 direct reports)
    • Develop/oversee Applied’s web presence, including site structure, administration, navigation, capture tools, and other programs as required to increase said presence
    • Monitor and measure the sales lead process
    • Direct the planning, development, tactical execution, and tracking of the company’s marketing databases and direct marketing programs
    • Direct and monitor the use of Marketo, marketing automation platform and administration, tracking and reporting, based on methodologies, workflows and objectives.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience; MBA helpful
    • 10+ years experience in Marketing, including significant time in a Marketing Operations management position directly managing and/or overseeing individual(s) responsible for a marketing automation system (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, or similar)
    • Demonstrated experience in managing and directing the planning, execution, production, and on-plan delivery of multiple marketing initiatives for a global organization
    • Proven ability to manage, monitor, allocate, and align resources to maximize marketing efficiencies with established budget and guidelines
    • Working knowledge of, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Umbraco Razor (or other CMS); Domo exposure a plus
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills, including ability to foster relationships across divisions/functions
