Job Summary

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Client Partner to join our Enterprise Services team and work in partnership with our Sales team to identify and pursue consulting opportunities with our clientsIn this role, you will develop the overall scope of services for enterprise-level implementation projects, optimization engagements, ad-hoc consulting, custom development, and other business development opportunities as identified.  You will also serve in a governance and escalation capacity on projects that are in progress.  Using your mix of business acumen, negotiation skills, and insurance industry credibility, you will be relied upon to provide service delivery excellence and overall customer experience satisfaction.  You can live anywhere within the US or Canada, as you will work remotely when not travelling.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver statements of work that correspond with clients’ business requirements and Applied’s services capabilities
  • Partner with Corporate Sales in providing overall account leadership and relationship management
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings/on-site visits to customers' facilities to review their business imperatives and match technology solutions to the desired business outcomes
  • Participate in driving a positive overall customer relationship by pro-active involvement and ongoing communication with the customer, as an outgrowth of fee-based annual services
  • Collaborate regularly with Sales Management to determine opportunities for additional services to both new and existing customers
  • Develop strategies to educate and generate awareness of various service offerings
  • Achieve a high level of client satisfaction by providing customers with creative, compelling, and impactful solutions that address their business priorities



  • 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry, including strong client-facing roles
    • Insurance industry certifications (CPCU, CIC, CRM, etc.) a plus
  • Significant exposure to insurance automation technology (Applied products ideal, but open to similar, competitor, and/or proprietary technology exposure)
  • Demonstrated ability to scope work, identify opportunities, and assist in the "selling" of enterprise solutions
  • Highly skilled in the art of negotiation
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide value added solutions to clients in resolving problems
    • Inclination towards/above average understanding of technology helpful
  • Exceptional speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills; outstanding technical writing skills
  • Well developed organizational skills; ability to synthesize business issues quickly and identify where/how product functionality can be used and/or use improved
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office –Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Available for 25-30% travel
