    Job Summary
    Applied Systems, Inc. is leading insurance agency automation solution provider and is looking for an Alliance Partner Manager – Nationwide & Aggregator Marketplace to manage strategic alliance partners and drive business plans and results with both the Nationwide agency marketplace and our strategic aggregator and cluster partners.  In this role, you will drive the strategy to deliver on our goal of understanding, recruiting, and advancing our relationships with the Nationwide captive and independent agencies and the independent insurance aggregator marketplace.  You will be relied upon to drive senior-level and field relationships with Nationwide and selected strategic aggregator organizations and executing go-to-market plans nationally. By establishing and growing business relationships while at the same time working with the Applied sales team in managing the day-to-day interactions with these agencies and members, you will execute strategies and programs that drive top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of Applied’s solutions.  You may work remote and live anywhere in the US for this role, though there is high preference for a candidate in the Eastern or Midwestern regions of the country to due concentration of prospect and client locations.


    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Work with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.).in order to execute the Alliance & Nationwide programs’ business plan
    • Serve as a key member of the Sales team in helping to define and deliver the overall Nationwide go-to-market strategy and tactics.
    • Engage with the Applied sales organization, Marketing and customers to drive tactics that create revenue opportunities for Applied.
    • Ensure that there is a strategic business development plan for target partners and ensure it's in line with the overall sales direction, including the creation of partner account plans and powerbase maps to track the progress of each program and achievement to goals
    • Set and manage program revenue goals and work with the sales & marketing teams as well as our partners to generate tactics in order to achieve/exceed goals
    • Work with sales enablement to position and communicate Applied Partner Program (“APP”) for use by the sales organization
    • Prepare and provide business KPIs to Applied management and sales teams to track and manage program progress and success metrics
    • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group
    • Create and execute operational rigor with the team including territory management, account management, segment plans, and business reviews (internal/external)

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience in the Insurance and/or technology/cloud services industry
    • Ability to provide insight and input in order to develop programs and effectively communicate them in order to enable high performance sales organizations
    • Consistently measure, manage, and meet key performance metrics
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
    • Ability to provide insight and input to develop strategies and key tactics and be accountable to drive execution internally and through strategic partner network to achieve objectives
    • Available for travel as needed (1-2 trips/month on average – up to 50% travel)
    • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required
